The Big Sell is for leaders with guts, grit and a drive to do good. Use your entrepreneurialism, your influence and your hustle to raise vital funds for The Big Issue and help give meaningful work to people experiencing homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage.

What is Big Sell Day?
When you raise $1,000 or more, you’ll take the challenge to a whole new level. Because you’ll earn your spot in Big Sell Day. Go head-to-head with other leaders to see who can sell the most copies of The Big Issue magazine in a single day.
It’ll put your selling and people skills to the ultimate test. And taking part in the challenge will change lives – including yours.
Where the $$$ you raise will go
Your fundraising dollars will help support The Big Issue programs, and the resilient vendors who sell the magazine on the street every day. Your money will help run social enterprises and create meaningful work for people experiencing homeless, marginalisation and disadvantage.
Funds raised will provide The Big Issue vendors the opportunity to earn additional income through our 2-for-1 offer. It will mean a vendor can buy 2 magazines for the price of one ($4.50) and sell both at retail price ($9 each), earning an additional $9 for selling an extra magazine for every one they buy.
By taking part in The Big Sell, you'll be giving people an opportunity to earn an icome, build their confidence and rebuild their own lives.

How to take part
Step 1 :
Sign up
It’s quick and simple – just register online. You can sign up solo or in a team of two.
Step 2 :
Raise funds
Reach out to your network. Use your influence. And raise life-changing funds to help give meaningful work to people experiencing homelessness. If you’re new to fundraising, don’t sweat it. After you sign up, you’ll have plenty of support along the way.
Step 3 :
Climb the leaderboard
Big hitters. Power players. Movers and shakers. This is your chance to shine. If you get serious about fundraising, and raise serious $$$ for people experiencing homelessness, you’ll earn your place at the top of The Big Sell fundraising leaderboard.
And your hustle and hard work will be celebrated in front of the whole crowd at Big Sell Day.

Hit the Streets!
Everyone who’s raised $1,000 or more will get to hit the streets on Big Sell Day. And compete to see who can sell the most copies of The Big Issue in a single day. Will it be you?
