A Little Donation Goes a Long Way

I’m fundraising for The Big Issue!

During the month of March I’m taking part in The Big Sell, raising funds for The Big Issue and their hardworking vendors who experience homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage.

Over the last few years The Big Issue vendors have had it tough. Decreasing foot traffic have significantly impacted their ability to sell magazines and earn a meaningful income. To help, I’m raising funds in March to keep helping vendors help themselves, and to make sure they can continue to earn an income and improve their lives. To do this, I need your support.

Thank you.

About The Big Issue

The Big Issue is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and creating work opportunities for people experiencing homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage.

For 26 years The Big Issue has supported those living on the margins with various social enterprises and programs. The Big Issue is best known for the fortnightly street magazine sold around Australia, but also runs other programs such as the Community Street Soccer Program and the Women’s Workforce.

Since beginning in 1996 The Big Issue has supported more than 7000 people experiencing homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage to earn more $34 million. More than that, the programs have connected people to their communities and helped build confidence and capacity to help themselves.
